My Task At Hand

My version of "Daily Photos" will be ever-so-typical of myself: 'A Different Little Twist'!! I'm using this gallery as an impetus: one of my present goals is to add several photos per day into this website. As I'm doing so, I will choose one of the photos to include in this 365 day project! (If I experience a difficult time choosing which image to use as my 'Daily Photo', I'll add the other choice(s) into my Contender gallery) Occasionally, there will be days when the photo was actually taken on that particular day! This will probably be governed by available time and my creative spirit! The photos within this gallery are available to order as prints and other merchandise; click on the 'buy' icons. I will appreciate any comments and/or critiques; click on the 'add comments' on the bottom left, and please include your name! You can also vote on the photos, if you choose; drag your pointer onto the enlarged image on the right; a box will appear on the top right which allows the voting process. Just click either yea-or-nay! Thank you for visiting this Gallery, and I hope you enjoy the photos presented here! © Copyright 2009 Lady Kates Photography

Yay!! Myki and I DID revisit one of our favorite places during this year's camping trip: Florence Lake!!
BTW: Myki and I were laughing when it dawned on us that we apparently have some kind of thing going with "Florence"!!??
Thinking back to our Rock Hunting Expedition in March which is when we met up with another Florence!!! Huummm?!?!

Once again, we rented one of these beautiful yachts! Sharing our adventure with Terri and Mary Pat, we enjoyed a splendiforous day together!

(This is not an SP!! Myki used my camera, saying "Wait!! This would be a gorgeous shot; the blues in your outfit match the colors of the water!")

Added another shot from this particular day in my Contender gallery

I've had much to do after spending nine days in the beautiful Sierras; which hasn't yet included creating galleries from our trip!
I'm hoping to work on that this coming week! I will also be attempting to catch up on my DP's and this community!

Hello again!
This is the first chance I've had to tend to a DP since my return from our Ladies camping trip last Wednesday night.
However, before I begin to share any-of the many- photos from 'camping in the Sierras', I have a much higher priority:
'McKinley'! Today was her time to leave this world; she will be greatly missed, by many :(
My deepest spympathies and compassion go out to our neighbors, McKinley's family.

McKinley was an incredibly beautiful, loving, wonderful, wise, sensitive, deep and old soul !!
For our dog, Roxy, McKinley was her best friend and protector.
I am very grateful and feel quite honored that we got to be a part of her life, and that she was a part of our lives!
Thank You, Chuck and Lisa for sharing her with us!
And Thank You, McKinley, for being who and what you were!!
Much love, and many Blessings!

Hey Hillary!! I promised you that I would post a DP of a photo from one of our annual trips!! Here ya go!!

MyKey and I, as well as 14 other 'Wonderful Women', will be spending next week camping together in the Sierras!! I will be pulling out of town this Sunday; I'm VERY much looking forward to our adventure!

This photo is of one of our favorite places to revisit during our annual time-away: Florence Lake. I took this shot in 2005 when my daughter Kamryn, MyKey and I went on this 'day excursion'. We left our campsite in the morning, with a fabulous picnic, heading for F.L. where we rented one of these 'mini-yachts', then spent the day exploring! The picnic was enjoyed with the sights and sounds of a beautiful waterfall, with its turquoise waters.

We have already reserved one of these same beautiful vessels for another 'day trip' this next week! As you've probably figured out, I can hardly wait!!

Johnloguk: FYI--the peak in the distance is Ward Mt., 10,862 ft.

I won't be able to post another DP before we head out:(

Blessings to each of you in this wonderful Daily community. Honestly, I will miss my interraction here, and will look forward to posting a favorite shot on the day or two after our return! (July 23)

Be Well! Be Happy! Live. Learn. Laugh. Love.
