Time constraints have necessitated the use of another photo from our Dallas trip as the DP for today.
In the heart of downtown Dallas stands a 29-story building which was built in the 1920's as the headquarters for the Magnolia Petroleum Company (later Mobil Oil). This building became one of the city's most notable landmarks in 1934 when Magnolia Petroleum Company erected a revolving red-neon sign in the image of Pegasus, the flying horse, on the roof. That original Pegasus was replaced twenty years ago with a replica, which presently shines from atop the building:
