December 26 A --belated-- MERRY CHRISTMAS!! I've been a tad bit busy since my last post! ;-))) We've had a wonderful couple of days! My son Travis and his family came here for Christmas! My daughter Kamryn was also able to come join us! This photo is especially for Irishmurr and lil' Miss Maeve! During a phone conversation, I had mentioned to Irish about the new Santa Hat which I received as a gift from a dear friend---"a hot pink Santa Hat, with an attached Tiara!!" Also, please note my new sweater, which was also gifted to me from another dear friend---shivering Christmas Flamigos = Season For Freezin' ! Kamryn and I interrupted her guitar practice session with my grandson/her nephew Calix so that we could get a photo-donning the new hats- for Irish and Maeve! You girls just have to get your beautiful selves one of these hats !! ;-)
May 3 Just for fun! I was testing out my new toy this afternoon. This was in low light, ISO 6400, with a slight Topaz 'curly smooth' filter added.'

November 3 We call this "Pinking our campsite" !!! Hey, Indigodreams.....wonderful idea to choose a particular day, suggesting that community members post something according to a theme! You choosing 'Pink"--for Breast Cancer Awareness--was perfect! Of course I LOVED it!! Just found it a bit late ;-)
October 3 This evening I watched the sunset from home, on our deck, while being entertained by the antics of our Hummingbirds!! *********************************************************** And I want to offer my appreciation for the many wonderful comments on my lake sunset image of last night! It's very fulfilling for me to 'generate and share joy' through my photography; your comments suggested to me that you experienced joy in also being able to view that unique and beautiful sunset ! Thank You! FYI: I began creating a gallery today from my sunset time at the lake last evening. I was there from 6:15 - 7:15. The entire hour was beautiful, with the beauty changing every few minutes.
