My version of "Daily Photos" will be ever-so-typical of myself: 'A Different Little Twist'!!

I'm using this gallery as an impetus: one of my present goals is to add several photos per day into this website.
As I'm doing so, I will choose one of the photos to include in this 365 day project!
(If I experience a difficult time choosing which image to use as my 'Daily Photo', I'll add the other choice(s) into my Contender gallery)

Occasionally, there will be days when the photo was actually taken on that particular day!
This will probably be governed by available time and my creative spirit!

The photos within this gallery are available to order as prints and other merchandise; click on the 'buy' icons.

I will appreciate any comments and/or critiques; click on the 'add comments' on the bottom left, and please include your name! You can also vote on the photos, if you choose; drag your pointer onto the enlarged image on the right; a box will appear on the top right which allows the voting process. Just click either yea-or-nay!

Thank you for visiting this Gallery, and I hope you enjoy the photos presented here!

Our Dearest Sue

'Well done!! Oh good and faithful servant!'

You were an incredible mentor! I will be forever grateful that you were a part of my life!
I'll be watching for your visits!

Say "Hi" to God for me!

I love you, and will miss you very much!

Last night, I went to check out possible locations for an upcoming photo shoot of a client's 3 yr. old son. We're wanting to get a shot of this toddler, after dark, with lights in the background. Since I wasn't taking the clients with me, I needed a subject to practice with! So, I am introducing to you, my buddy, "Fannie"!!

This was taken in a local park which apparently has quite a bit of activity going on at night!! Now, just imagine the looks, laughs and comments I was receiving!! I told them we were creating her modeling portfolio! I also took a 'milk jug' to practice with!! (That was interesting.)

I've included another shot, from a different area of the park, in my: Contender gallery.

I would appreciate your opinions of the two different locations, and any advice/suggestions/comments you'd offer me regarding the upcoming shoot! So, envision a toddler standing/sitting there instead of my Flamingo Friends!! Thanks!

The four of us were laughing when we saw this, Monday night at Fisherman's Wharf!

"But Officer - - I swear I was only doing 50!"

It's never too late to teach a smart dog new tricks!!

Kamryn and Mike's Bulldog, Margie, and our Cocker Spaniel, Roxy, were part of our Birthday celebration at Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey, yesterday! They had as much fun as we did!!

My friend, Sherry, is like a sister to me; her daughter, Stacy, is my surrogate neice! My daughter, Kamryn, and Stacy have birthdays one week apart (and four years!). It's an annual event that the two mother/daughter teams share an evening together, of fun, food and frivolity to celebrate their birthday! Last night was our lil' get-together! Sherry, Stacy and I met Kamryn in Monterey (we live two hours south of there; she lives 30 minutes north), at a Fire Station where Kamryn's 'Special Man Friend' works as a Fireman. After playing there for a while, we headed over to Fisherman's Wharf. We also had the unexpected delight of a beautifully sunny and warm afternoon; it's usually foggy in Monterey!

We dined on Steak and Sushi, then played around in the Wharf/Marina area. It was becoming a little chilly, so we went back and continued our party in the car! Champagne, Chocolate Truffles and birthday presents!!

We decided these annual get-togethers are just going to keep getting better!! Depending on where the girls end up, we just might have to stretch our party into two, three or four day events, by hopping on a plane and meeting...who knows where!!!

We are so blessed to have each other in our lives!
I love you Ladies!!!

P.S. I admit: I did not use a tripod and remote...I asked Mike to take the photo for me! (Kamryn and I are on the right!)

I was adding to my Hawaii gallery during my 'time for photos' today.

This is a Fan Palm; one of my favorite tropical trees. I added a 'slight' touch of contrast.

This was just so classic!
Had to share it from my Aruba gallery.

No! I didn't take this one today, but that would have been nice!!
My 'Time for photos' today was spent starting a new gallery: Aruba

My husband and I spent a week on the small, quaint, tropical desert island of Aruba, in December '06.
This is one of my favorites photos from our visit; the sun was setting behind me. (This is SOOC)

The California Lighthouse sits on a hilltop perch at Aruba's northermost tip. It's active days are over; the beacon itself has been closed to the public for a number of years, ever since someone committed suicide by jumping from its summit. The surrounding area features some of the island's most spectacular scenery--gentle sand dunes, rocky coral shoreline and turbulent waves.
The structure itself gets its name from the 'California', a passenger ship that sank off the nearby coast before the lighthouse was completed in 1916.
