My version of "Daily Photos" will be ever-so-typical of myself: 'A Different Little Twist'!!

I'm using this gallery as an impetus: one of my present goals is to add several photos per day into this website.
As I'm doing so, I will choose one of the photos to include in this 365 day project!
(If I experience a difficult time choosing which image to use as my 'Daily Photo', I'll add the other choice(s) into my Contender gallery)

Occasionally, there will be days when the photo was actually taken on that particular day!
This will probably be governed by available time and my creative spirit!

The photos within this gallery are available to order as prints and other merchandise; click on the 'buy' icons.

I will appreciate any comments and/or critiques; click on the 'add comments' on the bottom left, and please include your name! You can also vote on the photos, if you choose; drag your pointer onto the enlarged image on the right; a box will appear on the top right which allows the voting process. Just click either yea-or-nay!

Thank you for visiting this Gallery, and I hope you enjoy the photos presented here!

We're still in Dallas, and only experienced slight snow out of that big storm hitting many parts of Texas today. With the rain and chilly temperatures, I chose not to leave the hotel today. Last night was clear skies and warm enough to walk to dinner. The Iron Cactus came highly recommended! After their sextacular Margaritas and delectable gaucamole, who needs more than that for dinner!?
At the hotel today, one of the wonderful staff offered to be my bodyguard, and protect me while my husband was away! Chivalry IS NOT dead!!
My bodyguard agreed to let me photograph him today. I have photos of "Lawrence, The Terminator" and more photos from last night here

I walked around in the downtown area again today. However, I went a different direction, heading towards the Arts District. This photo shows a small portion of the front of an old church, above the entrance. The diameter of the stained glass window is approx. 30 ft.

Spending the most time at The Nasher Sculpture Center, I really enjoyed the Garden area and outdoor sculptures. Take a visit to the Sculpture Gardens, see other photos of this beautiful church and that side of Downtown: click here

This is just so perfectly fitting for a downtown district of Texas!!
To give you an idea of the size of these 'sculpted longhorns', the top of their backs was almost level with the top of my head.....I'm 5'2". This was one heck of an art project.

I have written some explanation re: this trip and will be including a link to a gallery (with the rest of the photos from today) with my March 3 DP. Check it out! Here

My husband and I spent a good portion of our day traveling to Dallas. He has work here this week and while he's working, I have the incredible opportunity of finding something to do with my time !!
My camera was in my suitcase yesterday. I'm now posting two shots; one for yesterday and and one for today.
Oue hotel is in the downtown district. I walked around for several hours today, totally intrigued with the sights and sounds!
Check out that gorgeous blue sky! It was snowing when we arrived last night!
I saw a schedule of events for The Majestic; March 4 & 5 will be auditions for "America's Got Talent". Might have to get some shots of all those people waiting in line! At least, even people-watching the line will be entertaining!

I am creating a Dallas category; a new gallery for each day of our stay here:

My husband and I went to visit two of our daughters. We were busy visiting with 'the girls' and their men last night, so now I'm posting photos for yesterday and today, indicative of where the girls live.
Our daughters live in different areas north of us, but the traveling time straight to either area is about the same: 2 1/2 hours. Both areas are still considered 'Central California'.
Our first visit was in Gilroy. This tree is in the yard next door to the home of one daughter. I've posted this particular photo because the tree is so unusual. It is an Oak Tree that apparently wants to be a Weeping Willow!! I've never seen one like it , and we have many, many Oak trees, of different varieties, throughout our area of California. This one has long, tendril-type, drooping branches. And look at how far they hang in comparison to the size of the houses.
This photo doesn't do any justice to the unique majesty and beauty of this tree!!

This is an area of Capitola Beach, adjacent to Capitola Village; a six-or so!-minute walk from the home of our daughter! As part of our visit with our daughters, we all enjoyed a wonderful evening together watching the sunset!

As a sidenote: you, too, could have one of these charming, colorful beachfront cottages!! That is, if and when they come up for sale. The yellow two-story one in the right-side row was recently on the market for a mere 2.5 million!! That's because it's a two-bedroom!! Those in the front row, are only one bedroom, and only 1.5 million!! (However, that was a few months ago! Don't know about now; one way or the other!)

No photo opportunities today; this is another one from yesterday.
The daffodil greeted me in the morning; this was my early evening!

This is the first of these beautiful darlings, putting on their annual show, in our yard!
There was dense fog and a lot of dew this morning.
