August 28

Early afternoon was sunny and beautiful along our coastline today!
Enjoyed the opportunity for a BIF practice session. I really liked the lens glare in this shot!
Also enjoyed some PS Elements practice: played around a bit in 'adjust lighting', and 'adjust saturation'.

Thank you for your comments on yesterdays sunset image. I'm still in amazement of that spectacular sunset show!

This sunset show was VERY spectacular!
To include as much of the colors both high in the sky, and then reflected on almost all of the water, this is my first attempt, using this configuration, at a 6 shot panorama!
I DID add a slight bit of contrast after merging the images.

This image was from the first test practice session after making the settings suggestions which Al offered!

From my recent "Royal Road Trip" with my friend Queenie.
This sunset was just south of Page, Arizona on July 7.

I returned home from this trip on July 8 and was certainly excited about beginning the process of creating a gallery for the trip and posting some favorites in here. However, I had some delays to contend with: on the evening of July 12,
I experienced a 'heart attack' :-( The ambulance did the lights & siren; they tried to do an angioplasty and could not due to sharp s-turns in the blood vessle where there was a slight blockage; I got to spend a couple of days in ICU and 5 more days in the step-down unit before being released to go home. I'm being treated with medication, which is apparently doing a good job as the cardiologist was pleased with my recent nuclear stress test results! He then gave me the go ahead to begin exercising which I started today at cardio rehabilitation under monitored conditions.
I haven't spent much time working with the trip photos, or anything else superfluous for that matter :-(
I am ever-so-grateful to still be here, that I am doing better and that this incident DID NOT take place during our road trip!
