Young Tom followed his promptings and chose a different path.......modeling.

"OK..." Tom said very seriously, "It's time we have us a little chat about this 'Thanksgiving' idea" .

Greg and I spent the afternoon in Morro Bay. This guy was interested in what we were doing up there!

We're STILL in a fun & festive mood here on the California Central Coast!!

This is an element of a photo project I am creating. The original image was taken on Aug. 29 while my friend Rikki and I were spending time in Cambria, CA. At this moment we were at the beautiful Cambria Pines Lodge wandering through their incredible gardens.

I want to address the fact that as I type this, my Oct. 25 DP is 'unjustly' in the #1position.
This morning the image received quite a few duplicate comments and I have left them there intentionally as they have been brought to the attention of those at SmugMug headquarters; mid day tomorrow they will be removed after they have been forwarded to another team at headquarters.
Our gallant DP member leaving those comments was doing so to make it harder for the 'thumbs-downer' who had apparently had a REALLY bad day, was feeling exceptionally insecure, sick and mean and was working at taking photos off the new board--starting just after midnight -CA time--within minutes of them being posted and showing up on the new board. MANY of your photos were taken off the board :-(
There were other members' DP's that were also -gallantly- given many duplicate comments just to get them back onto the new board and maybe to help keep them there after they'd managed to be taken off several different times.
Earlier in the day, those other members removed their duplicate comments, so headquarters never did get to see those.
The point of which was for HQ to see what sometimes gets resorted to in this community all because some member(s?) DOES NOT want to play fairly ;-(
( I am actually experiencing compassion for the deep issues this individual is suffering from in order to cause this kind of behavior)
Headquarters did receive several notifications early today & messages throughout the day. They are sorry the community is having to experience this, are disheartened at the misuse of the system and "it's definitely something we are working on".

October 25

My husband was beginning some vacation time right after our trip to Cleveland; we had an overnight lay-over in San Jose, CA then flew out the next morning for Maui! We spent a wonderful week with daughter Carli and her husband, experiencing much R & R ;-)
This was our first sunset, on October 8, with a full moon rising behind me!

October 24

While I was working in my office this morning, our cat was looking out the window and this guy came around the corner.
They stared at each for a while; long enough for me to reach my camera!

After minutes of staring at each other, he decided to be more comfortable during their communications!
They then stayed in those positions for @15 minutes. I really do wonder what they were chatting about!?
