My purpose with this gallery, is to continue on with this project as a form of personal journal. I won't be posting on a daily basis; my intent is to journal more of the
major events, adventures, people and creativities as they perk my life!

Taking this opportunity to share an image from New Year's Eve!
My friend Maria and I went on a bird watching/photo op excursion which are ingredients for a very enjoyable afternoon!
We headed out to the Carizzo Plains which is @1 1/2 hrs. southeast of us , hoping to locate and photograph Sandhill Cranes which we heard had been lingering in that area. We never did spot any of the Cranes :-( Nontheless, it's a cool area to investigate; many other kinds of birds to chat with, mud to play in and silence to experience! It was soooo wonderfully
quiet out there!
We talked about our time together being likened to the Photo Walks which johnloguk and Phil Nix share! Now, their last Walk was in the snow. We didn't have snow, but when we were shooting at this old barn, we WERE cold! As it was getting dark, we
were glad to get back to the heater of the car! And dang....the car thermometer told us it had dropped to......42F!
No wonder our hands were numb!! ;-)
